Prof. Muditha Vidanapathirana has been appointed Chairman of the National Child Protection Authority (NCPA).
He is a Professor of Forensic Medicine at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and has served as the Judicial Medical Officer in several high profile cases.
Meanwhile, former High Court judge Sujatha Alahapperuma was appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the NCPA.
