A Pradeshiya Sabha (PS) member who had allegedly assaulted a family at a residence in Kithulkote was arrested yesterday (Oct 24).
Four victims including a child who claimed that they had been attacked said that the PS member had been drunk at the time of the incident.
They are receiving treatment at the Thanamalwila Base Hospital.
