With today (Dec 30) being the last day to submit applications for vehicle transfers the Deaprtment of Motor Traffic saw queues of individuals at the office.
With effect from Jan 2017 those who delay in submitting the application forms will be charged a fine of Rs 100 per day. Vehicle owners were at the office since 3am this morning in order to sort out matters and avoid having to pay the stipulated fines.
