The road between Mayfield Road junction and Paramananda Vihara Mawatha junction in Kotahena will be closed for traffic from 10 pm today (Oct 25) until 5 am on October 28.
Accordingly, police have advised drivers to use Wasala Road, and Mayfield Road during this time period.
Meanwhile, the J.D. Fernando Mawatha in Grandpass will also be closed for traffic from 10 pm today (Oct 25) until 5 am on October 28, police added.
Drivers have been advised to use Dematagoda Road and Ananda Rajakaruna Mawatha as alternative routes.
Police said that these roads will be closed due to water pipe laying projects.
