Seethawakapura Urban Council 2019 budget defeated

The 2019 budget in the Seethawakapura Urban Council (UC) was defeated by one vote today (November 23)

The SLPP (Podujana Peramuna) have the majority in the UC with 11 members while the UNP also have 11 members along with one JVP member.

CHairman K.A. Ranaweera presented the budget and at the end of the debate the vote was taken. SLPP voted in support of the budget while the UNP and the JVP voted against.
