Seven people were killed while atleast 40 were injured after a bus toppled off a precipice in Badulla today (Jan 6), police said.
The bus, belonging to the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB), had veered off the Passara - Madulsima road resulting in the accident.
The Presidents’ Entitlements (Repeal) Bill under which benefits for former Presidents would be reduced has been gazetted.
