Six individuals including a child were admitted to the Hambantota General hospital following a head-on collision at 11:15 pm in Ambalantota yesterday (Dec 27).
The accident had occured when a car which was heading towards Nonagama had collided with a three wheeler that was travelling in the opposite direction.
It is reported that the collission had occured when the driver of the car had lost balance thereby causing the car to veer off the road.
Accordingly, four individuals in the three wheeler and two individuals in the car were admitted to the Ambalantota hospital following which they were transferred to the Hambantota hospital for further treatment.
