The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) appointed two of its members to the positions of Propaganda Secretary and Trade Unions Secretary today (Feb 28).
MP Ranjith Siyambalapitiya was appointed to the post of Propoganda Secretary while MP Lasantha Alagiyawanna was appointed as the Trade Unions Secretary.
Former Speaker and NPP MP Asoka Ranwala was arrested today following a road accident in the Denimulla area of Sapugaskanda last night, police said.
