The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP)'s party manifesto for the upcoming Presidential polls will be unveiled on October 8 in Colombo, party Chairman Prof G L Peiris said today (Jul 15).
Addressing a press briefing today (July 15), Prof Peiris stated that a committee of 29 intellectuals from diverse fields is currently drafting the manifesto and that it would be ready by the end of this month.
He noted that it would be put forward for public discussion during the first two weeks of August and then officially released in October.
