Speaker requests Attorney General's opinion on current political situation; Speaker to issue statement tomorrow
The speaker has requested the Attorney General's opinion on the current political situation, the Speaker's Office confirmed.
Accordingly, the speaker will issue his statement on the present political situation tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka Rupavahini channel transmission has been stopped due to a dispute between workers.
Finance Minister Mangala Samaraweera said that the Sri Lanka Rupavahini coorperation and Lake House workers have been threatened by thugs.
