‘Shaping your Promise’ will explore the role of Channels and Supply Management, and will be the topic for session 1 at this year’s Sri Lanka Retail Forum 2019 to be held on November 26 and 27 at the Cinnamon Grand, Colombo.
The forum organised by Sri Lanka Retailers’ Association, will feature four thematic sessions, with local resource persons, and foreign experts in the global retail ecosystem.
“The promise you offer the customer, is delivered through your channels and supply chains. In this context it is important that retailers understand how this will evolve in terms of speed, models and service levels and how to develop, so it is future-proof. Optimising the processes in ways that your products and services can be delivered to customers efficiently is of great importance to every business. Retail supply chain management is how you enhance those processes to maximise both speed and efficiency. Businesses must be able to deliver their products or services to a consumer’s hands as fast as they can. However, these processes must be improved to be as efficient and as affordable as you can,” the organisers said in a media release.
Some of the expert presenters lined up to reveal these insights during Session 1 are Sarinda Unamboowe, CEO/Managing Director - MAS Kreeda; Suren Kannangara, CEO - Affno (Pvt) Ltd;. Jagath Pathirana, Director / CEO - Expolanka Freight; Dayan Jayasuriya Engagement Manager - McKinsey and Ms. Kamaya Perera, Principal - KPMG as the panel moderator.
Sri Lanka Retail Forum provides a valuable opportunity for networking and collaboration in the retail industry.
