A Sri Lankan Tamil man aged 38 years and his sons aged 6 and 4 years were found dead in their house at Maduravoyal in India on Tuesday.
According to a report in the Times of india, Police suspect that the man, identified as Habib Rahman, had killed his sons by forcing them to drink poison and committed suicide by consuming the same. However, police didn’t find any suicide note in the house.
Neighbours last saw Rahman and his children on Sunday. The house had been locked from inside since then.
As there was no response when they knocked on the door on Tuesday morning, the neighbours alerted the Maduravoyal police.
The police broke open the door and found dead bodies. The bodies were sent to Kilpauk Medical College Hospital for postmortem.
The police registered a case under Section 174 of the CrPC (unnatural death).
