In support to the government’s efforts in curbing the spreading of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the staff of the United Nations Development Programme in Sri Lanka recently donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits for healthcare professionals working on the frontlines of this crisis, a statement from the UN agency said.
As such, 500 PPE kits were donated to the Office of the Provincial Director of the Health Services, Western Province and 100 kits to the Kalutara Hospital (100), through voluntary contributions made by staff.
