Suspect arrested for impersonating candidate at A/L exam

An individual who allegedly impersonated a candidate sitting for a paper in the GCE Advanced Level (A/L) Examination has been arrested by police in Uhana. 

According to Police Media Unit, the Chief Examination Hall Supervisor of an A/L Examination Center at a school in Uhana had lodged a complaint with police last morning that an individual impersonating a candidate was sitting for the Economics II paper at Hall No.03 of the school. Police officers who conducted investigations then arrested the suspect. 

The suspect is a 32-year-old resident of Tekkawatta, Mahaoya. He is due to be produced before the Ampara Magistrate's Court. Ampara Police are investigating.
