An individual has been arrested in Dehiwela today (May 14) with weapons and ammunition, police said.
The suspect was taken into custody during a search carried out in the area this morning.
Among the seized weapons were disassembled parts of a shotgun, and two air rifles, police noted.
A tool kit, 32 bullets, 90 bullet shells, and two tins of metal ball bearings were also seized from the suspect at the time of the arrest.
