A wanted suspect who is believed to have purchased and modified the vehicle which was used by the bomber of the St. Anthony's Church in Kotahena, was arrested today, police said.
The suspect, Mohamed Adham, was taken into custody in the New Kattankudy area today (May 15).
The vehicle which was parked close to St. Anthony's which was laden with explosives was defused by means of a controlled blast the following days by security forces.
Earlier this week, police released four sketches of the suspect based on eye-witness accounts of the suspect.
