The Education Ministry has decided to launch a project which would see the distribution of tabs from Grade 6 - 11, Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam said.
He noted that these tabs would be distributed upon the advice of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe. Efforts are being made to uplift the local educational standards to bring them on par with those overseas.
Meanwhile, students of G.C.E. Advanced Level (Grade 12 and 13) will be given laptops within the next two months, the Education Minister said.
