Former United Peoples Freedom Alliance (UPFA) parliamentarian Thenuka Vidanagamage remanded until July 14 by Mahiyanganaya Magistrate today over an election violence incident in Mahiyanganaya. Mr Vidanagamage surrendered himself to the police today while five others were arrested earlier over an assaulting a man in the Mahiyanganaya area.
