Three suspects have been arrested with swords and low-explosive hand grenades in Mutuwal, Mattakuliya today (Apr 25).
The suspects were apprehended with 21 locally-maunfactured hand grenades and six swords, police said adding that a van was also taken into custody along with the suspects.
Officers attached to Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) who were tipped-off on the location of the suspects had conducted a joint raid along with the Special Task Force (STF) in the area.
