Three-minutes silence in remembrance of lost lives ; Final rites of Katuwapitiya victims today

The entire country will observe a three-minute silence from 8:30 am as a mark of respect to the lives lost during the tragic series of incidents," Secretary to the Ministry of Internal & Home Affairs and Provincial Councils & Local Government said.

Meanwhile, the general public has been requested to display a white flag outside their houses in commemoration of today's day of mourning in honour of those who had lost their lives during last Sunday's terror attacks.

The final rites for those who were killed during the explosion at the St. Sebastian Church in Katuwapitiya will be held today evening under the auspicies of the Archbishop of Colombo Malcolm Cardinal Rajith.
