According to the latest figures released by the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA), the number of tourist arrivals to Sri Lanka went up 16.8 % to 1,005,855 in the first seven months of this year, Information Department said. China topped visitor arrivals in July with a performance 25,120 arrivals, a growth of 65.5 % in the month of July. According to the Tourism Development Authority most of the tourists spend more than $250 per day.
