Traffic congestion at Lotus roundabout
The entry road to Galle Face has been closed due to traffic from Lotus Roundabout due to a protest by the postal trade unions, local media reported. Severe traffic congestion was reported along Lotus Road in Colombo Fort due to the protest.
The revision of recruitment schemes, vacancies and promotions, resolving salary disparities and providing infrastructure facilities are among the demands of the postal employees.

SLAF Bell 212 crashes into Maduru Oya
