Train derailment between Mount Lavinia and Ratmalana
The engine of the Beliatta bound 5.50 pm express train from Maradana has disconnected from the compartments between Mount Lavinia and Ratmalana.
Initially, the engine of this Beliatta bound train from Maradana had disconnected from the compartments in the Bambalapitiya area but the train had proceeded after the engine and compartments had been re-coupled.
Currently the disconnected engine is being re-coupled to the train.
