Transportation along Colombo - Hatton road affected due to flooding
A part of the Hatton - Colombo main road in the Malliappu area has been flooded following heavy rains in Hatton today (Apr 17).
The flooding had disrupted transportation activities along the Hatton - Colombo main road for about 30 minutes this afternoon.
Meanwhile, areas surrounding the Mawussakale and Castlereigh reservoirs had also experienced heavy rainfall today.
