Two individuals have been arrested by the Navy in the Northern seas with 79 kilograms of kerala cannabis today (May 11).
The suspects had been taken into custody in the seas off Vettalakarni during a sea patrol this morning, Navy said.
It is believed that the suspects had attempted to smuggle the contraband into the country by means of a dinghy boat.
The suspects along with the seized cannabis are due to be handed over to the Police for further investigations.
