Two Chinese nationals have been arrested with illicit foreign liquor and cigarettes worth Rs 10 million at a Chinese restaurant in Kollupitiya.
Kollupitiya police who were acting upon a tip-off on the restaurant had nabbed the suspects with 385 bottles of foreign liquor and 6200 packs of cigarettes which were on sale in the restaurant.
Six sea cucumbers and dried sea horses were also taken into custody.
The suspects have been identified as siblings by the ages of 30 and 28, police said adding that one of the suspects possesed the license to carry out the business while the other did not.
They will be produced before courts in due course.
