Minister of Power and Energy Mahinda Amaraweera today (1) handed over two Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) machines to Health and Indegenous Medicine Ministry to be used for testing COVID-19 patients.
The machines, worth Rs 23 million, had been donated by the International Atomic Energy Agency after a request made by the Sri Lanka Atomic Energy Authority, which comes under the purview of the Ministry of Power and Energy.
