Two suspects have been arrested in Peliyagoda while transporting 400 kilograms of Kerala Cannabis in a van today (Feb 08).
Police said that the suspects were arrested by the Police Organised Crimes Prevention Unit (OCPU).
The cannabis is valued at Rs 40 million.
Meanwhile, the van which was used to transport the said narcotic has also been seized by OCPU officers.
A questioning on the suspects is currently underway to determine the future course of action.
