Two women, including a Grama Niladhari, who are accused of assaulting a minor in Kotavehera were again remanded in custody today (30) till February 13 by the Nikaweratiya Magistrate's Court.
The victim's father, identified as Jamaldeen Abdul Mohammed Roshan, who had also been in remand custody, was released on two personal bonds of Rs 100, 000 each by Nikaweratiya Magistrate Lakmali Dassanayake.
Those remanded were R.M. Nlmini Rathnakumari (Grama Niladhari) and her sister and stepmother to the victim, Manel Rathnakumari.

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa is due to vacate his official residence at Wijerama Mawatha, Colombo this morning, a Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) source said.
The Presidents’ Entitlements (Repeal) Bill was passed by a majority of 150 in parliament today. However the opposition MP’s were absent during the voting.
