Two youths aged 21 have been arrested by a Special Police Team in Kalutara over the possession of local weapons and ammunition.
The suspects were nabbed with three weapons, five ammunition rounds, a car, a van and a motorcycle.
According to the police, the two suspects have been previously involved in aiding and abetting crimes in the Galle and Moronthuduwa area.
Police have also recovered 41 SIM cards that were found to be in the possession of the suspects.
