The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has issued on Sunday (October 20) a travel advisory against travel to Sri Lanka.
"The UAE Embassy in Colombo urges UAE nationals not to travel to Sri Lanka except in extreme and compulsory cases," the embassy stated on its official twitter account.
Currently, campaigning has commenced for the Presidential elections scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka on November 16. (SD)
