UPDATE : Southern PC member granted bail over alleged child abuse charges

UPFA Southern provincial councillor Krishantha Pushpakumara alias "Raththaran" who was arrested for allegedly sexually harrassing a 16-year old girl was released on bail a short while ago.

The bail was granted when the suspect was produced before the Galle Magistrates Court today (Feb 28).
