Ven. Athuraliye Rathana thera appointed as MP

Ven. Athuraliye Rathana thera has been appointed as the national list Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ape Jana Bala party.

The Election Commission put an end to the controversy surrounding the national list parliamentary seat by issuing a gazette on Friday naming Rathana thera to fill the vacant seat.
