Veteran children's book writer and illustrator, Sybil Wettasinghe, has passed away at the age of 92, family said.
As a locally and internationally acclaimed author of children's books with many of her books translated into several other languages, she produced over 200 books and illustrations over her career as a full time writer.
The book “Wonder Crystal” was recognised as a Guinness World Record for the most number of alternate endings.
