Former Chief Minister of the Northern Province C.V. Vigneswaran has tendered his resignation from the TNA today.
The resignation letter was handed over to TNA MP Mavei Senadiraja at the TNA office in Jaffna.
Vigneswaran will continue his political career in Jaffna as a member of the Tamil Makkal Kootani (TMK), a new political party led by him.
