Health Minister Pavitra Wanniarachchi is to appoint a committee to look into priority groups to receive the vaccine, funding and infrastructure facilities after World Health Organization (WHO) has agreed to provide 20 percent of the country’s population with the COVID vaccine in nearby future, a Health Ministry Spokesman said.
This decision has been taken following a meeting with the WHO’s Country Representative Dr Razia Pendse.
