Wimal's wife remanded
Former Minister Wimal Weerawansa's wife Shashi Weerawansa remanded until February 25 by the Kaduwela Magistrate for allegedly submitted fake documents to obtain a diplomatic passport, police said. Meanwhile the Criminal Investigation Department (CID informed to the courts today that the parents' birth dates on the birth certificates of Wimal Weerawansa and his wife are false.
