A 90-year old woman had died while two others were injured in an accident involving a three-wheeler in Bandaragama yesterday (Sept 8).
Police said the three-wheeler had veered off the Kalutara Road after losing control and had collided with a wall.
The injured victims were rushed to the Bandaragama Hospital.
However, one woman who sustained critical injuries had been transferred to the Panadura Hospital following which she had died.
The deceased victim has been identified as Somawathie Jayasinghe, a resident of Malamulla.
