The Yala National Park will be closed temporarily to local and foreign tourists from September 1 till October 31, the Wildlife Conservation Department said.
The closure of the park is to improve infrastructure facilities at the park, the Department noted.
Accordingly, the Wildlife Department said it would engage in patrol inspection tours to prevent visitors from entering the Park.
