Chanuka Ratwatte and four others remanded
Chanuka Ratwatte and four others who were arrested by the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) today, were remanded in custody till September 28 by the Colombo Fort Magistrate over an alleged financial fraud.
The five suspects are alleged to have misappropriated Rs.4.2 billion in Government funds.
Chanuka is the brother of United People's Freedom Alliance (UPFA) MP Lohan Ratwatte.
