Two persons have been killed and one seriously injured after being hit by a train in Talpitiya, Wadduwa last night. The men had reportedly been walking along the rail track when they were hit by a train traveling from Colombo to Kalutara South.
They were admitted to the Panadura Hospital. Two were pronounced dead on admission. The victims, aged 41 and 55, have been identified as residents of Panadura and Ambalangoda.
Wadduwa Police are investigating.
