Mortar bomb used in Northern conflict found

The Special Task Force (STF) discovered a mortar bomb believed to be used during the conflict in the north, the STF said today.

At 10:30 AM on Thursday (December 1), a group of STF officials of the Mankulam Camp had conducted a raid in the Kunchilam area of Mannakulam, where they discovered the bomb.

The mortar bomb is of the type 120 mm and is believed to have been used in the North-East Conflict. The bomb was handed over to the Kanagarayankulam Police.
