Sri Lanka Cricket on Thursday announced the 15-man squad to play the three-match ODI series versus Afghanistan, starting on November 25, at Pallekele, Kandy.
The squad is, however, subject to sports minister's approval, said SLC in it's media release.

In the meantime, Bhanuka Rajapaksa has requested that Sri Lanka Cricket release him from the current squad, as he wants to take a break from ODI cricket. Accordingly, Rajapaksa will be released from the squad - added SLC.
However, only hours earlier, Timesonline had exclusively reported Rajapaksa had wanted him excluded in the squad since wanting to feature in the T10 League.
