Sri Lanka’s T20 vice-captain – Wanindu Hasaranga – saw fluctuating rankings in T20 after the no.1 T20 bowler dropped to second place, behind Afghanistan’s, Rashid Khan.
After the latest rankings released by the ICC on Wednesday, Hasaranga has 695, only three-points behind his Afghan counterpart.
However, in what seem as compensation and consolation, Hasaranga stands as the fifth best T20 all-rounder, having 175-points to his name.
He has also improved one step up to the eighth-place with 233 points in the ODI all-rounder rankings.
Joining his countryman is, his fellow all-rounder, Dhananjaya de Silva, for the first-time in the top-10. He finds himself at the tenth slot carrying 226-points.
Meanwhile, another spinner, Maheesh Theekshana, managed to retain his T20 bowling ranking staying in at no.10 with 643-points.
