Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has appointed former fast bowler Chaminda Vaas as the national team's Fast Bowling Coach for the upcoming tour to West Indies.
Vaas' appointment comes a day after David Sekar tendered his resignation as the National Fast Bowling Coach.
Vaas currently serves as a Fast Bowling Coach at the High Performance Centre of the SLC, working with Emerging and National team players.
During his illustrious career for Sri Lanka, Vaas captured 355 Test wickets from 111 matches and 400 ODI wickets from 322 games.
