New Zealand Cricket named their women’s squad for their tour of Sri Lanka. The series will commence on June 27 and go on until July 12. This tour consists of three one-day matches, one warm-up T20 game, and three T20 games.
The head coach of New Zealand, Ben Sawyer, Dean Brownlie (batting coach), Craig Howard (spin bowling coach), and Chennai Super Kings academy coach Sriram Krishnamurthy will join the group in Sri Lanka as tour coaches.
The White Ferns stated that this would be their first time visiting Sri Lanka for a bilateral series, and this would be a challenging situation for them to adapt to the Sri Lankan heat and humidity conditions.
The tourists will depart for Sri Lanka on Thursday, June 22, ahead of the first One-Day International (ODI) against Sri Lanka in Galle on June 27.
