Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has decided to recall Kamil Mishara from the ongoing Sri Lanka's Test Tour of Bangladesh.
According to SLC, Mishara has been alleged of breaching of rules [(clause no 1 (j)] governing the player's conduct/behavior as depicted in his tour contract.
"Mishara, who is a part of the 18-member squad taking part in the ongoing Test Series between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh Series, will be immediately flown back to Sri Lanka," issuing a statement, SLC said.
"Upon his return, SLC will conduct a full inquiry into the 'violations' and upon the outcome of the inquiry, further actions would be determined on the player," it added.
According to reports, Mishara has entertained a female associate in his hotel room in Mirpur, which is a breach of conduct according to the tour contract.
He was also involved in a disciplinary issue while being a member of the Sri Lanka Under-19 team.
