Sports Diary for this week

After losing the first two games Sri Lanka will take on England in the third and final Test match at the Oval in London between Friday (6) and Thursday (10), with the aim of a win.

In rugby, the second leg of the 78th Bradby Shield encounter will be played at Pallekele as Trinity College host Royal College in the deciding game.

The Dialog President’s Cup Schools Knockout Rugby Championship has reached the semi-final stage, with two matches down for decisions on Saturday (7) and Sunday (8) at the Royal Sports Complex. Simultaneously, the Premier Cup semi-finals will be played at the same venue prior to the main games on both days.

Sri Lanka ‘A’ currently on tour in South Africa, will play their first Unofficial Test match at Kimberley, beginning from Sunday (8).

The National Super League Limited Overs Cricket Tournament 2024 continues this weekend with a card of two games.

The SLC Under-23 Major Club Tournament continues this week as well with 18 teams competing under two groups for the title.
