Sports Diary for this week

Sri Lanka’s tour of South Africa 2024/25 began with the first Test match at Durban, which will end on Sunday (1).

The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Under-19 Asia Cup 2024 will begin pn Friday (29) at the United Arab Emirates, with Dubai and Sharjah as the two main venues. Sri Lanka U-19’s have been slotted in Group ‘B’ alongside Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Nepal.

Sri Lanka ‘A’, who are currently engaged in a tour to Pakistan, will wrap up the tour with the third and final unofficial ODI match against Pakistan ‘A’ at Rawalpindi on Friday (29).

The 72nd National Badminton Championship will begin on Sunday (1) at three venues in Colombo, the Sri Lanka Badminton (SLB) courts, Mercantile Badminton Association (MBA) courts and Otters Aquatic Cub courts, and will run until December 8.
