The Travel Trade Sports Club (TTSC) will be quite busy for the next three weeks.
Even before they held their AGM, the 2019 events calendar went into motion with the Archery Championships coming up on February 15.
The TTSC 43rd AGM is scheduled to be held on February 20 at Ramada Colombo, 4.30pm.
Immediately after the AGM, the Sixth Carom Championships will held on February 23 at the Galadari Hotel.
Entries have been invited for Carrom from the 170 strong TTSC Membership, closing on February 18 with Gayani Karunaratne, C/o Aitken Spence Travels, Vauxhall Tower II, 4th Floor, Vauxhall Street Colombo 2.
At the previous tournament held on March 24, 2018 at Galadari Hotel’s roof top fine dining restaurant, the 'California Grill' where, Cinnamon Lakeside won the Men's Team Championship, beating Mt. Lavinia Hotel.
In the women's individual tournament, Nimanthi Kodituwakku from GFH, won the singles and the Mt. Lavinia Hotel pair, Deshani Liyanage and Rajitha Wijetunga won the doubles.
